Heya guys, I’m working on my very first ZBrush model, which also happens to be a school assignment due next week. I’ve run into this huge brick wall nearing the end, and honestly, am panicking cuz I’m at my wits end. Really hope u guys can help me out.
So here’s the gist of it: I wanted to make a high def model on ZBrush and then load the low poly along with its glorious normal maps into Maya, where I can complete a turntable assignment. Problem now is that Maya is giving me an output far off my mark, and I really don’t know how to set this right. I’ve attached the screenshots of my maya/zbrush render and normal map output settings for your viewing. I’ve practically been bulldozing thru the learning process by myself in order to make the deadline (save a few kind souls online who dropped some advice), but I fear that I’m at my limit><. Any help would be most welcomed.
Thanks for your time.
PS: I’ve also recently come to learn that it’s possible to do a turntable demo on zbrush itself, but I’m afraid my PC can’t handle the render (>60M points overall on high def)…not to mention that I’m honestly clueless as to how to pose the character along with the clothing which were completed as separate subtools. Should this be a more feasible approach, I would appreciate some guidance as to how to execute this.
