Urbance Kenzell FAN ART

Hi all,

I decided to attempt recreating the character Kenzell from Urbance, I am a fan of that project and love the designs so I decided to make a model. I’d love to hear what you think. The toon version is rendered in maya and the highpoly in keyshot.

How much time did you put into it?

Thanks Lloyd :slight_smile: that’s a tough one to answer since it was one of those projects I worked on and off of. But if I’m estimating it took me roughly 2 days for the sculpt, maybe another two to topo and texture him, one day to set up a simple bone system and skin, and maybe 3 other days to set up materials, pose, render etc. But those are just estimates, I guess I should have timed out :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you I try :slight_smile: yes I do use Maya, I used it to make the topo and shader for him.

As you can see, I’m having a little trouble maintaining my tight edgeloops when going from Maya to ZB.

Yeah I would guess what storm said is the correct approach with using morph targets. Try to do what he said.
