Unusable, stuck copy of Model? (answered)

Hello.

I just started getting used to ZBrush and practicing my sculpting techniques on a base model. And now I am having this issue.

This all started when I used the GoZ function, when I integrate my models with Maya and ZBrush.

What happens is when I open a document of the model I created, I get a stiff, unusable pose of the model I created. Then I go down to the SubDivision panel where the models are displayed, and I only have one copy of the model I created, and if I add another model to the scene, the default model just stays in place and it doesn’t move, and I can’t seem to get rid of it.

I recorded a video to show you the issue, I figured it might help.

As you can see, I can still rotate, scale and move the recently imported model, but the stuck copy of the model just stays there.

What do I do or what did I do? What could be the issue?

Thank you for your time.

Just clear the background by pressing Ctrl+N. You have just snapshot a version of your model to the canvas. You can read about it here:
