unfinished UVs and normal

So i’ve read a few work flow issues and im currently wondering about mine.

I’m currently working on a mesh i exported from maya, however its UVs are pretty messy and unfinished. How would i go about reapplying the finished uvs to the low poly mesh of my finished high res zbrush mesh later on in zbrush before i make a normal map?

At level 1 of your multi-res mesh, store a morph target. Then press Tool>Import and load the version of your low-level mesh that has the UV’s you want. It’s just important that the point order be exactly the same as what you started with, or your model will “explode” when you return to the higher levels. Before going up to higher levels again, you should also switch to the stored morph target. Otherwise, the scale change of the newly imported level 1 will affect the details at your higher levels.
