Forgive me if this subject has been dealt with but I couldnt seem to find it
through searching.
I find that the keyboard short cut for undo seems to be unreliable.
Sometimes it works fine, some times it works for a while then vanishes and
sometimes it just doesnt work at all from launching Zbrush. Sometimes a relaunch brings it back - at the moment its just plain gone.
Its a drag to have to go to the ‘draw’ folder each time to undo.
I have tried to place the undo and redo buttons in a more convenient place
in a custom UI but it seems that undo never stores when I ‘store config’.

Is it a bug?
Has any one else experienced this, does any one have a solution?

This is an issue that some people have experienced. This should fix it:

  1. Go to the Pixologic\ZBrush 4.0\ZStartup\HotKeys folder and open the StartupHotkeys.TXT file in Notepad.

  2. Add the following lines to the end of the file:


[EDIT:UNDO,634]
[EDIT:TOOL:UNDO,634]
[EDIT:REDO,890]
[EDIT:TOOL:REDO,890]
  1. Save the file and restart ZBrush.
