Undo not working after switching into spotlight (answered)

I’ve changed the undo hotkey to Q, and standard ctrl+z, I’m switching on and off the Spotlight and after one switch the undo stops working until I redo the hotkey. What am I doing wrong?

Seems to be when I press SHIFT!. This is bizarre… It just resets them all every time.

Damn stupid, It’s because CAPS LOCK is on.

Nope that’s not it, still doing it. Zbrush 4 is not going well for me :frowning:

If you set a new hotkey for UNDO it will be stored as UNDO 3 (or whatever the undo number was when you assigned the hotkey). What you need to do is open the ZStartup\Hotkeys\StartupHotkeys.txt file in Notepad and then edit the Undo entry to take out the number. So for the default hotkey of Ctrl+Z you would do this:


[EDIT:UNDO,634] // Ctrl+Z

Save the file and all should be well.
