undo hotkey reasignement

Hello Folks,

For a reason I don’t really understand, reassigning a hotkey for any functions works fine except for UNDO. I’ve been trying for hours but sadly failed.

First, I tried to assign a hotkey (CTRL+ALT click on the windowID). The new assignement appears on the startupHotkeys.txt

[EDIT:TOOL:UNDO 11,625] // Ctrl+Q

It works fine but only for the eleventh undo!
By the way, I changed UNDO 11 with UNDO just to experiment but it’s not working anymore.

Is it possible to assign a hotkey to “every” UNDO?

Cheers

bruce

It should work if you edit the StartupHotkeys.txt file to remove the undo number:

[EDIT:TOOL:UNDO,625] // Ctrl+Q

Make sure you are editing the file in the Users\Public\Documents\ZBrushData\ZStartup\Hotkeys folder.

The default assignments are shown at the bottom of this page:

Hi Marcus,

Thank you very much, It works like a charm.
