Hey there,
you can only drag out the icons from the Top Menu/Brushes, not from the icon shelf on the left side.
Hope that helps.
Thanks dsoellbuster, I tried to open the brushes from the top menu and I couldn’t get, for an example, the Flatten or Gouge and etc. because they aren’t in the visible list of tools in the brush menu.
I’ve seen other people have a wide variety of brushes in their custom menus I just can’t seem to duplicate the results.
I’m probably misunderstanding the lingo as well, so that doesn’t help.
Thanks.
J
Ok now let’s see,
if you can’t see a specific brush in top menu/Brushes just go to the brush icon on the left hand side and select it. After that you will also see it in the top menu. Once it’s there, just enable customize UI and control + click drag the SMALL brush preview icon and drag it out onyour canvas. The same goes for the Brushes that are “hidden” in Lightbox.
Hope that’ll work for you.
P.S.: Don’t forget to click on store configuration under preferences once you’re done
Thank you dsoellbuster! That did the trick. You saved me some additional grey hairs.
Ha ha … you can have mine if you like …
No thanks!
C’mon … you want advice but no gray hair??? Cheapskate …
Anyway … glad you were able to solve your UI problems.
I have my own crop that’s coming in quite nicely but thank you for your generous offer and your help!
But seriously, if all it takes is me taking your grey hairs in exchange for advice/help WELL I’M ON BOARD. Better to have grey hairs than no hairs at all due to the fact that I pulled them all out!
rofl … glad i could help and i’ll keep my hairs to myself. I’m happy that i still have 'em anyway. You’ve gotta be patient when dealing with 3D!!!
You just ain’t whistling Dixie brother!
I tried to get my doctor to prescribe me some Valium with no luck:(
I really REALLY wish they had “For Dummies” books for these farting programs. Or “Babies first 3D”, OH, and a translator. I could type in ‘Doo-hickey’ and the translator would come back with the correct terminology!
Oh well.
AND HOW!
lol
well there are at least 2 good books out for Zbrush. One is getting a bit dated tho. I would love to see a Zbrush for dummies. I have one for Blender.
Maybe i should write one … as i’m giving classes for dummies everyday anyway. Should be right up my alley Let’s see where all that valium actually takes me … pop … pop … pop
remember to write it while you are popping… otherwise it will never happen…
heck, please feel free to pop whatever if that helps with writing a “For Dummies” book.
You’ll make BANK! And I will throw money at you like no body’s business!
