un-fill a material/matcap

when you choose a materia/Matcap from the material palette all your subtools adopt it, but if you switch on Mrgb and go color/fill object the subtool will have that material baked on until you “fill” it again

is there a way to un-fill this material afterwards so you can apply materials to all subtools again easily?

Fill it with flat color material with MRGB active. This is the equivalent to erase the material and color. You won’t be able to fill materials in an object with layers in recording mode.
