UFC Wrestler

Hello guys, been a while since I posted here. Here’s my latest render, a UFC wrestler, inspired by Randy couture. Modelled in zbrush, rendered in VRAY. Hope you guys like it. Will be posting zbrush snapshots soon.

Nice model Vikramvr, the shorts need more lighting, it’s almost a black silhouette. I think the gloves could use more spec too.

Cool! Any Zbrush Sculpts shots?

Great Piece man… I agree with Ihowar22 a bit more spec on the gloves would be nice…

How about some cauliflower ears too?

Really nice work! I would add more texture variation around the stomach and on the feet

Thanks for the replies guys…It’s weird because on my computer, the black shorts don’t look like a sillhouette. I think It’s an issue with the gamma on my monitor. I should learn to check renders on a couple of monitors before posting

caffeineandpixels, I wanted to keep his ears simple.

HI
wow awesome work!!
only one hmmm i dont like his face, last pic closeup on his face, head looks weird to me… hehe

one more time great !!

Hey
i just would like to say its fantastic =) Good job, and thx that u share your shader setup!

scattercolor white??? and all the maps… mh…the skinshader could be better. did you try only a overall colormap with a sss color and standart scatter color without diffuse color?
you should set the prepass rate to 0 or 1. you will get better results.

Thanks Vikram for lighting setup.

nielot007, Thank you…This is a wrestlers face, and his nose must have been hammered in the fights, and that is the reason for the side of the nose being very subtle. Also people expect perfect 3d renders, and our eyes are tuned to it

pitchepuck, I’m not an expert in vray. Infact, this is the first time i’m using it. Thanks for the tips. I just wanted to share with other artists, how i got my results. Thanks

digital_3d, You are welcome
