I’m creating a beard for a character. Using the brushes, even at a low strength, does weird things to the hair strands. So hoping that that there is someone knowledgeable that can pop in with some advice or a link to a tutorial on line or here that explains the nuances of using these styling brush tools. I’ve watched the Classroom vids and the brushes are only only mentioned here and there with no instruction or tips on how to use them, esp on really short hair like beards.
I found that the move and move elastic brushes work pretty well but they do tend to drag the hairs longer than I want… smoothing the hairs works a bit at reducing the edges of the beard but other than using these 3 brushes I’ve not found using the brushes created for Fibermesh to be useful in the least on this sort of model… unless of course there is that person that can elaborate on how to actually make use of these brushes, that would be totally cool.
