Hi there I think I’ve found a solution.
Open Zbrush , go under Document>Range , remove the gradient and set the color that you prefer.
After that Save as > and save the document as a backup.
Now just click Save as Startup Doc .
Now you are done!
Close Zbrush and as soon as you start it should have the new document that you choose.
Hopefully no more gradient!
