The final image render setup and post is a bit more complicated to do during the week but I’ll try to post something in the weekend.
Here is the BPR post breakdown. Very simple stuff.
I created a light radial gradient for the background and then worked inside a masked group.
Recompositing the passes I gave more evidence to the AO pass. After I got a nice look I just colapsed everything to one new layer and did a final Levels adjustment.
With the Depth pass I could even had added a bit of DOF but at that scale and with that camera it wouldn’t feel natural. For dof I would have used DOF Pro (which is really amazing) or Nuke’s ZBlur (which is the closest I know to DOF Pro quality and with other advantages).
