Turntable BPR render with antialiased Alpha channel

Hello beautiful Zbrush Central people,

I’d need some help if possible regarding turntables…

I’ve been going a bit crazy lately looking for a possible solution.
I’d need to export a turntable, doesn’t really matter if image sequence (probably more manageable) or .mov file but what I would need to do is to render out with BPR different subtools (fibermesh too) with a nice antialiased alpha channel to put the all characters we are working on on a big background image.

Is possible to do it from the movie options inside Zbrush? (I’m using 4R6)

I tried different plugins and zscripts with no luck…and I’d need to render out quite a lot of characters at 30 FPS on a 360 frames turntable…

Many many thanks in advance, you guys are awesome!

All the very best

Silvia

I don’t know if there is a one click solution.
Recently tried to render a single pic with alpha included with no success.

For your problem I might have a workaround with rendering twice.

  1. Render your BPR turntable.
  2. change Materials to flat
  3. uncheck polypainting brush in the subtool menu.
  4. change background color to white in Document Pallette (In my limited time I only achieved black on white, invert in post)
  5. BPR render again.

This is the result I got

Maybe the more advanced guys have a more simple solution, but now it’s already possible

Knacki,

Thanks so much for your reply, really really helpful!
At least I know there’s a way! But might take forever…

What puzzles me is that it seems with turntable plus plug in was really just a button…and couldn’t manage to find it and install it for the latest Zbrush…
To render out a single image I guess I’d just export all the BPR render passes and comp it in PS…I wonder if anybody did a Zscript that could do that frame by frame without having me exporting by hand all the 360 frames XD…

Anyway, Knacki hanks so much again!

Hey Doug Jones,

Many thanks for your reply, that’s what I was talking about, I saw the thread and was wondering if this Turntable plus plugin still exist somewhere for Zbrush 4R6…
mostly for the antialiasing issue…fur really needs it :frowning:

Anybody has a link to it as it’s not in the plugin download page anymore sigh!

But thanks anyway, good shot!!

This seems to be the best solution so far but need to check how the antialiasing will work…fur really needs it!!

Turntable plus seems to have a buttton with an option for it but again, does still exist for zbrush 4R6?

As you use the bpr render again, you can adjust the aa here
