Turning UVCheck off...

Okay,
So now I know how to sculpt, export, unwrap and re-import my unwraps between 3D Studio Max 2009 and Z-Brush with no blow up; create displacement maps and use Z-Mapper to create normal maps (that last is based on the video available on this site although he is using Max 8 which is a far cry from what I have now, so if any of you know of any issues I’m going to run into with that, telling me now what they are and how to fix them would be wonderful) the problem I currently have is the following:

I want to begin polypainting but it won’t let me fill the object with color and I’m betting that’s because model still has that dark tone to it after hitting the UVCheck button. How do I turn that off?

I need to figure this out REALLY quickly because my capstone is riding on me being able to paint proper diffuse maps for my model which zbrush makes WAY easier than using Photoshop. So any help would be greatly appreciated…

Thanks very much for the reply. By the time you had replied, I already figured it out. That was a faster response than I had expected and it is VERY much appreciated.
