Turn polypainted surface color off temporarily?

Hello, I’d like to know if it’s possible to basically switch the color off (that has been polypainted on a subtool) to view the geometry in its grey version temporarily.
The reason for this is that I would like to view the sculpted and painted surfaces individually.
Preferably without changing my monitor to greyscale haha!

Just turn off Tool>Polypaint>Colorize or click off the paintbrush icon in the subtool list.

Just click on the brush Icon on the subtool. I think clicking on ‘colorise’ does the same.
