Is there a way to turn off the ka-bling sound that comes whenever one saves a tool? It’s annoying…
A way to turn off the do-you-really-want-to-save-warning would also be nice.

When I was in bootcamp using Windows, I HATED that sound, too. My volume would be up real loud, with no music on. After a good minute sculpting staring at a screen in silence, then going to save, that sound was like someone smacking me in the head with a frying pan then saying “ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO SAVE BI***?!” Could knock a man out of his damn chair…
I like PCs, but that was definitely one of my reliefs when 3.12 came out.
You might be able to do something about that sound across the board in the Windows preferences. Might be worth a look, I just resorted to turning the sound off! I doubt you can get rid of the warning, though.
Under the control panel, click on the Sounds and Audio Devices popup window (then select the sound tab to reassign program event sounds). Be sure to save the default sounds before experimenting. Test the Asterisk, Critical Stop, Exclamation, etc…

Thanks to both of you. Since all windows sounds are annoying I just switched to no sounds at all…
The so-called “Save Sound” is NOT a ZBrush sound at all. It’s a Windows sound. When you save, ZBrush causes a pop-up window from within the operating system, accessing Windows for the actual saving process. A Windows setting triggers that sound when a pop-up takes place.
By the way, you might think about getting a keyboard with media controls on it. Then you could just press the Mute button on the keyboard rather than digging through Windows’ Control Panel. Or you can turn on a setting in Windows that shows the system’s volume control in the task bar. You can then click that and check the Mute box.
