Trying to make a 4k texture using UV master

when making textures from polypainting, it seems the texture size is tied to the size of the uvmap…
if i create a new texture at 4096x4096 and then apply texture from polypaint on an object with uvmaster UV’s the resulting texture is always 2k…

however if i create UV’s using AUV and select 4k UV map size…
then click new texture from polypaint, the resulting texture is 4K…

is there a way to make UVmaster UV’s and make a 4k texture map??

The map size is the size set in the Tool / UV map setting however you make your UVs, not just in zbrush but also with UV Master or by external programs. Just press the 4096 button and your map will be 4k.
