Trying to get all the Z's going at work.

Hey All,

I am having some trouble here at the studio and IT can’t seem to get a Zbrush installed for me. We own Z 2.0 we have a version of 3 and the 3.1 update, and want to get 3.5. The problem is none of our previous versions will run.

When we go to Run the 2.0 we get a message that we have the wrong Java, even though he just installed the newest from sun’s site. We launch the 3.0 which seems to be an already installed version of the app and we get a DLL error “SSL Client License DLL is Corrupt, reinstall or contact Pixologic”

And obviously 3.1 is looking for 3.0. And we can’t get 3.5!

Any help would be great, I own my Z3, but this isn’t my copy, what can we do to get it working?

Running XP 64 on a Xeon 8 Core with 24 GB of ram.

ZBrush 2 for the PC is no longer supported. It can’t be activated, even if we were to help you with the installation issue. So there’s no point in installing it.

Why are you unable to get 3.5? Is it because you’re on a volume license and we’re having to handle the upgrade specially?

Regarding 3.1, please submit a separate support ticket. We can renew your download link, which will give you 3.1 directly. Or for even faster results, just download the trial version, which can be activated using your serial number(s).

Thanks for the info, we’ll stay away from Z 2.0.

I am not the IT here, I am actually just a freelancer that want’s ZBrush installed and they’re cool about it and will, BUT i don’t know what they own as far as a license.

I do know it’s installed on one machine and that one works, we’re on the same network could that be a reason for it not working here? The error when trying to run Z 3 is that we don’t have the correct java, but we’ve got the newest one, maybe there’s something we’re missing? I’m sure once i get one version working here it’ll be fine, and I can upgrade from there.

Now for me personally, I own ZBrush, and I’ve got 3.5. I see 3.5r2 is available, but haven’t received any email showing me how to get it, any help there?

There is no separate email for R2. We simply swapped out the file that Cleverbridge is delivering. So the download link that you got after upgrading now gives you R2 instead of R1. See here: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=075220
