When I get to the point where I’m trying to pose my mesh, everything slows down to the point that I have to wait about 20 seconds between pose changes. Anyone have any idea what’s going on? Thanks.

How heavy is the combined mesh? It sounds as though there are too many polygons for your system to work comfortably.
Whoops posted on the wrong thread. Sorry bout that.
I can’t think of any other reason for the slow down. The whole point of TM is that it works on a combined mesh from the lowest subdivision levels. But if that still yields a multi-million poly mesh then you’re likely to see a slow down. You might try compacting memory to see if that helps.
Okay, I’m new to all this, so I don’t know what’s a large number, but the figure I’m trying to pose is 8.4 million. Assuming this is too big, can I make it smaller? What’s the best way? Thanks.

You mean that the combined mesh that Transpose Master created is 8 million polys? That is way too large. You want to aim for no more than a million.
What you do about it depends on how you made your model and subtools. You may be able to use Tool>Geometry>Reconstruct Subdiv to create the lower subdivision levels but this won’t work with all meshes. If you have created a lot extractions at high level then really your only option is to use the retopology tools.
