Tron Statue

[Tron_final_low.jpg]

Hello folks, [Bryan Wynia](http://bryanwynia.blogspot.com/) and [Rubén Procopio](http://www.maskedavengerstudios.blogspot.com/) here... we wanted to share a sculpt we did in joint collaboration. As some of you may know that I'm a digital sculptor and Character Artist working in the game industry. Rubén is a traditional sculptor who's past work include over 20 yrs. at Disney's Feature Animation, among his diverse drawing chores, he sculpted maquettes for such movies as "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast".We met at a Z-brush class I was teaching and later joined forces to sculpt this Tron piece. I've done many digital sculpts and for Rubén this is his first digital sculpt! It's been great to see his years of experience transfer so well into a digital sculpting pipeline. The sculpt is being produced by [Electric Tiki](http://www.electrictiki.com/) and will be the 20th sculpt in line in their [Classic Heroes Collection](http://www.electrictiki.com/classic%20heroes/classicheroes.html)... among them include Hellboy, Lobster Johnson, Dick Tracy, The Phantom and The Green Hornet and Kato, all sculpted traditionally by Rubén. The Tron sculpt was blocked out in Maya and sculpted in Z-Brush and based on the original movie. The concept design was done by Rubén and the base design by Tracy Lee, owner/operator of Electric Tiki. We will post images of the final print and paint soon. Thanks as always for looking and we hope you enjoy it! Bryan and [Rubén](http://www.maskedavenger.com/)

Cool sculpt! Succesfull collaboration  :+1: .

Awesome!! Are you going to add glow to the blue parts?

Wow thats pretty neat!

the glow will make it really pop  :+1:

Love the tron statue. i think my favorite part weirdly enough is how you used the tron title to make the base.

Thanks guys, We are really happy you like it. As for the glow, I will let the pictures do it justice. Here are some final shots of the figure.

TRON is app. 14" tall, 1/6th scale and will fit in perfectly with all of our other Classic Heroes statues. Designed by Rubén Procopio and Tracy Mark Lee. Sculpted by Rubén Procopio and Bryan Wynia, this is Electric Tiki’s first statue sculpted digitally. Paint work by Kat Sapene.

As always thanks for looking and we hope you enjoy!

Thanks,
Bryan and Ruben
