TriCurveFill - just one set of curves

I was trying out the TriCurveFill-Brush, creating some petals with radial symmetry. However trying to create a second set of petals/curves, the old ones get deleted. They do not get masked off automatically like the tutorial video says (ZClassroom - 3D Brushes - TriCurveFill), neither are they saved, when I masked them off manually before trying to create the new ones.

Any ideas?

Did you click(possibly ctrl+click, haven’t used feature lately and not at PC) somewhere to “cement the curve”? I’m sure it’s in the docs somewhere but couldn’t find it to reference for you.

Just a single click on your mesh will apply the curve once you’re happy with it. You can then draw out another curve.

I see, thank you!

This very small but vital detail was not mentioned in the tutorial, maybe it was different in earlier versions?
I’m thankful for the free tutorials in ZClassroom, but they really should get updated, there are so many inconsistencies when one tries to utilize them with a newer version.

Additionally: Is there a way to get previous curves back to edit them or they “cemented” for good?

linear workflow.
