Hi everybody !

Here’s the making of my new image " Le Cabanon".

I start to model everything in Maya. The interresting part for U my dear zbrushers is the modeling of the tree !

I started it with zspheres:

Theres a freaking cool wood shader, if you dont already know it, type wood shader in search field.
Very nice!

Hey, Very nice

Dizzy Boy

You have a french Forum at this adress
Bravo pour ce bel arbre, un peu déplumé pour la saison
Pilou

Here is the render… But it is with maxwell, so, no displacement… I only used the displacement map as a bump. Maybe I should force it a little bit more…

Thanks pilou ! I know this site, I’ve already posted on it… I will go soon !
The picture is a summer picture, here is my inspiration, a picture I’ve made few years ago:

I didn’t modelise any leaves because I wanted to do it with some particules in maya or 3dsmax…

Next step, making branches which will be distributed on the tree. Then, Leaves will be distributed too over these branches…

Va quedando, va quedando.

What ? Excuse me but I haven’t been speaking spanish until 1991 !? What do U mean ?

nice maxwell.

Here is a screenshot of the tree with the branches distributed on it. I used PF in 3Dsmax to do it:

PFsources by elements:

Pfsources in the PF view:

superb… Maybe a black and white rendering would give another style atmosphere, could be ineteresting to try…
Nice work…

Merci Seb !

Here is a screenshot with all branches and leaves over the tree:

And the render:

Generaly Nature loves odd-numbered
So you four roots seems a little original
Maybe the fifth is hidden by the trunc

Another render test with the trees:
