‘Are you good making trees’, he asked. ‘Can you help me to make a tree?’
Before thinking I said yes. So I started making a tree from ZSpheres. It ended with 4380 spheres after 23 hours of modelling. I used the magic and helpful ZifClick to put some branches but after 2870 Spheres it stopped. But I will forget the work when I use it in some scenes. The rendering I made I used Jotajota’s snow because I did not want to make grass, flowers, flies and other micro life. I posted this file not because of a nice rendering but to show ZBrushing sometimes is hard working.
Next thing I make is not a tree or thistle!!

ive had a bash at a few zsphere tree’s (not to this detail ) and i can honestly say that it is the most repetitive task ever it gets mind numbing after a while but as you so brilliantly show the end results can be breathtaking

I am a newbie at z2 and a real newbie to zspheres but what I find amazing is how organicly and smoothly the branches blend into each other from viewing your image with the skin.:+1: :+1: :+1:

I always thought that CG trees realy realy SUCK. WOW, but this one is SO REAL. 10/10 !!!

Stupid newbie question…What is ZifClick? A plug-in? Does it do the branches for you?
