Trapjaw

hi all. i haven’t done anyting in zbrush for a while so i thought i’d share. always loved Trapjaw from the he-man cartoons, so i got started on a model tonight. here’s my progress so far. base was in silo 1.42 (yes, i was trying to mock the mudbox materials.)

a lot will be covered up by his helmet and jaw, which i plan on making in silo as well.

one more thing…uhhh…being a noob…how do i add the hard surface stuff to my model? i always wondered how, then i started and realized, i don’t know what the hell i’m doing!

Welcome to my world
Yeah! Trapjaw will always be a cool character.
Great start industri :+1:

i agree, nice start.

what do you mean by “hard surface”?

sorry to bump my own thread…what i meant by “hard surface” is that i need to add the metal jaw and helmet to this guy once i get them together. i’m always seeing these cool models sporting weapons and armor and gear, and most times they look pretty seamless. i’m just a bit clueless about how this is done.

i currently have silo 1.42, cinema 4d and zbrush of course. are there any tutorials on this or articles explaining the process? if so i’d GREATLY appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
