I’m using the mac 3.2 version. I am importing a human head from cinema 4d for texturing and such – the model I am importing has a closed mouth – lips basically touching – and my question is simply: how do I slightly open the mouth? I watched some transpose tutorials, but I just don’t seem to get it – also, I think those tutorials are outdated, as it has been turned into projection master. I know opening the mouth shouldn’t be that difficult, but I’ve hit a road block with it. Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me a bit of advice.
Anyone?
Hi , mask of (like painting/sculpting , but hold CTRL) the upper lip-nose , or bottom lip-chin, depending how you want to open the mouth. Masking will make sure that part of the model will not change at all. Once you masked the upper lip+nose for example, you can pull down the bottom lip to open the mouth without affecting the upper lip. Depending on how high poly your model is, you need to be precise with your masking or not.
Thanks!
