Transpose multi-subtool assets / keeping a T Pose or a symmetry working

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way (aside layer for each subtool) to sculpt a multi-subtool character with the symmetry ON even when it’s transposed…

To resume, I’m working on a Samurai and I would like to transpose it to get a better sens of his final posture. But I don’t want to lose the ability to sculpt with the symmetry ON

Hope there is a way

Thx

poseable symmetry, it’s in the transform panel with the other symmetry options

Works great thx

Hummm after some tests, it seems to work well only on single object with classic transpose. Maybe I forgot something in the process :o

  1. I load my multi-subtool character
  2. Activate the “Use Poseable Symmetry” cause I guess you need to store that information before doing a “big action”
  3. Modify the pose with Transpose Master

When it comes back from Transpose Master, the symmetry is not keept according to the topology. It shows me the classic symmetry

Any idea?

Maybe the best worflow would be to merge down all the subtools and use the polygroup instead? I’m giving it a try since this morning and it’s actually not that bad. But some feedback would be appreciated to know if I’m heading the good way…

Thx
