Transpose Master - Tpose to SubT error: No Matching Data

Hey guys !
This problem seems to occur only on my mesh.
For some reason every time I use Tpose to SubT I get an error saying “No Matching Data” and I’ve no idea why.

I tried following these instructions:

  1. Before starting to use Transpose Master save out the model that you wish to pose as a ZTL by pressing the Tool>Save As button.
  2. Create a new ‘clean’ project, for example by loading the DefaultCube project through the Lightbox>Project tab.
  3. Load your ZTL into the new project through the Tool>Load Tool button.
  4. Use Transpose Master to pose your model.

And these:

  1. Load the pose model that you have saved. This should be a combined low res mesh created by Transpose Master.
  2. Export using the Tool>Export button and save as GoZ format (complete binary).
  3. Load the model you want to pose.
  4. Press the TPoseMesh button in the Transpose Master sub-palette. This will create a new combined mesh.
  5. With this new combined mesh selected, press Tool>Import and select the GoZ file you created at (2). The combined mesh should take on the pose. Note that if you get any warning messages that the mesh will be changed the meshes are too different and this will not work.
  6. Press the TPose>SubT button to transfer the pose.

Nothing seems to help.

Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks !

You do have subtools?

Yes I do.
And I choose the top one before going to Tpose

Maybe it doesn’t like the name? I saw one thread where that was suggested. http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/zbrush-plugins/transpose-master/

Tried changing it in Zbrush and afterwards the saved file name as well… didn’t work :\

If you can upload the project file (ZPR) to Dropbox or somewhere I’ll take a look. Send me a PM if you prefer.

Thank you so much for the offer, Marcus !
Unfortunately I can’t :frowning: I do not have the rights over the model and I am signed on a NDA.

this sucks, it happens to me as well. I try a transpose and i get the “no matching data” error and my model turns into a pretty star…the worse thing is that it doesnt happen to a lot of people so no one knows how to fix it and pixologic hasnt fixed it as far as I know

If you follow the information at the bottom of the Transpose Master online docs then you shouldn’t get the error. The model isn’t turning into a star, it is simply that Transpose Master is selecting it in error. Delete the Star (Tool>SubTool>Delete) and then try transferring the pose again.

Thanks a lot Marcus !!
I guess I missed that star

Well, I fixed all possible stars though the problem maintains.
Seems like ZBrush is immediately giving the error and a star object. Doesn’t even try to calculate anything.

Not sure why that should be. Can you let me see the project file (ZPR)? Use Dropbox or WeTransfer or something?

Ha, you already offered to help me like that in this thread, unfortunately I can’t share the file, it’s under NDA :frowning:
I really appreciate the offer anyway !
