Transpose master is swapping out subtools to a very old version of the model that has a totally different name and is in a different folder. This happens after pressing TPose to Subtool.
Any help appreciated.

Delete the old model from your project. Transpose Master will then select the correct model before transferring the pose.
Hi Marcus and thanks for your speedy reply (as usual
)
The model is a subtool loaded into a generic project scene and replaces a zsphere that acts as a marker. I use the project because the export settings and other stuff is compatible with 3dmax. The subtool had older models appended to it. Deleting those older models and using transpose master still results in zbrush loading a different subtool with a different name and other appended tools that I can only guess are a dim and distant relative of the tool I am trying to transpose.
I have also tried to rename the main subtool to check zbrushes naming and they are identicle. I saved the clean subtool with a new name and renamed appended tools as a new subtool with the same result. Transpose master still switched out my main figure with a different subtool. There is something I am missing here.
Cheers
Hi Kanga,
You will need to make sure that the wrong tool is completely removed from the project. Renaming won’t be sufficient as Transpose Master uses a numerical ID. When models have the same origins this numerical ID can be duplicated. It’s this that causes the problem.
Ha! Marcus you were correct. Those pesky meshes were in the project but not in a place I can delete them. The meshes are in the append list and an internet search revealed no clear way to get rid of them. No biggie really because I can just start a clean project but this time and in the future I will keep an eye on the auxiliary stuff.
Thanks man
Cheers
