Transpose master is glitching horribly

Help, I need urgent aid with a severe problem in Zbrush, with the transpose master.

Basically, I exported to maya a character mesh, rigged, skinned, animated and then posed the character. With it, I then hit the Tpose button to make low-sub version in another tool, to transpose and stuff.

Then, I imported the same mesh from maya, which was already posed with rigging, over the TPose mesh created inside Zbrush.

This is what I got once I transfered the pose to the main mesh :

Weirdly, those two meshes weren’t damaged in the process :

Does anyone have any idea why? This is really frustrating and it’s almost making me have convulsions of despair.

The error is caused because the point order has changed. I’m afraid I don’t know why it’s happened in this instance. It’s essential the point order remains the same so that the plugin can split the points back into their respective subtools.

You might be able to transfer the pose without using Transpose Master:

  1. After importing your model from Maya (you can import it into the TPose model which will make sure the size is correct), split it into separate subtools using Tool>SubTool>Split>Groups Split.
  2. Export each subtool as a GoZ Complete Binary file (*.GoZ) using the Tool>Export button. If you can, give them the same names as the original subtools.
  3. Select your origianl model (with subtools) and, at the lowest subdivision level, import the GoZ files you exported at (2), making sure you import the the right one for each subtool.

I can’t promise this will work but it’s worth a try.

Hey real thanks for looking into it.

But I’ve found the problem just about now :

When I export the Tpose mesh to Maya, I didn’t turn off in the Export setting the “Grp” option. But when you turn it off, it works perfectly.

It also works if you one subtool at a time through the Tpose method.

Could you please pass this on to the devs?
