TransPose Master = crash (OSX)

Hey, I’m having some difficulties with the new TransPose Master plugin for mac. I have my model with subtools and press the Tposemesh button, it creates a low res for posing and I continue and pose. The when I try to go back, pressing Tpose>SubT it starts to go through all the subtools like it’s gonna work but then ZBrush just quits on me every time.

I’ve tried it on a couple of different models and I get the same.

I’m using a dual core 2.4ghz iMac with 4GB RAM under Leopard 10.5.3.

Any help much appreciated cos I need to have it working as I’m in the Action Hero contest.

It sounds like there is a rogue subtool in there somewhere. You may be able to tell which it is by watching the plugin operation. Then try the plugin again leaving that subtool out. Let me know if this helps so we can narrow down what is going wrong.

Hey, thanks Marcus!

I think you may be right. I did some tests with the demo soldier model and everything worked fine so that narrowed it down to being a problem with my model. I narrowed it down further to the gloves on my model so I merged them with the body and now it seems to work ok.

Sometimes a subtool that has been mirrored can cause problems. If you mirror a subtool - such as to create a left glove from a right - then keeping them as separate subtools can help avoid problems.

Anyway, I’m glad you got it sorted.
