Transpose master--can't install

I’m not computer savvy, can someome please help me out with this?

I have a PC. I’ve followed the instructions for downloading Transpose Master, but I don’t think I did it correctly, since it doesn’t show up in ZBrush after restarting. Instructions said ‘Upzip’ Transpose Master. Is ‘unzipping’ the same as copying it?

Two download files showed up in my temp file. One a folder and one a file. I dragged the Transpose master file into the ZPlugs folder on my HD (to copy it), since that seemed the closest match to the instructions. That didn’t work so I deleted it and have to start over.

Can someone please how to do this correctly?

Thanks

Actually is says ‘EXTRACT the zip file’. (Sorry, my bad.) Do I open it? Or just move it?

And it says, ‘move the content’.–Not the whole folder? What do I do with the other file?

A Zip file is an archive file. It’s a holder for other files. For example, you could have a group of 20 files archived into 1 file. Just makes it a lot easier for downloading. Unzipping is simply taking those 20 files back out again.

If you don’t have anything to unzip zip files with, there is a free zipping and unzipping program called 7-Zip that you can download here .After you install 7-Zip, you can right click on the file you downloaded from the Pixologic Plugins page and select 7-Zip from the menu then select ‘Extract here’. Then just move the folder and the file that you extracted to the ZBrush 4\ZStartup\Zplugs folder.

Thanks Zber 2, you answered it! I have zipware, but it looks like the key was what to do with the other file. Would you mind me rewriting the directions?

As instructed:

  1. Download and extract the zip file to your hard drive.
  2. Move the content of the TransposeMaster folder to ZStartup/ZPlugs in your ZBrush directory.
  3. Restart ZBrush and go to the ZPlugs palette.
Revised:

  1. Move the FOLDER and the additional file, to ZStartup/ZPlugs in your ZBrush directory.

Thanks very much!
