Transpose master [Answered]

Hello,

I’m new to zbrush and i can’t find a solution for my problem using the transposemaster plugin.
I made a character and made a pose with zspere rigging with the transposemaster plugin.
When finished i clicked the tpose to subt button but it keeps asking me to select a tposemesh.
Where/ how can i select the tposemesh for my character?

Did you use the Transpose Master ZSphere rig option or set up the rig yourself? And did you work on the pose over more than one ZBrush session?

You need to use the ZSphere Rig option otherwise TM will not recognise your pose. And if you want to work on the pose in another ZBrush session you need to use the Transpose Master> Save TM Prj and Load TM Prj buttons to save and load the project, otherwise the pose data is lost.

To transfer the pose you have made, you can try this:

  1. Select the ZSphere rigged combined mesh that has the pose you want to transfer.
  2. Make sure the ZSpheres are visible (they should be, unless you have pressed ‘A’ to preview the mesh, in which case press ‘A’ again).
  3. Set the Tool>Adaptive Skin>Density slider to 1.
  4. Press ‘A’ to preview the mesh.
  5. Press Tool>Export. You’ll get a Save As file dialog. Make sure you select ‘GoZ Complete Binary’ in the file type dropdown, give the file a name and save.
  6. Switch to your original model with subtools.
  7. In the Zplugin palette, make sure the Transpose Master>ZSphere Rig option is OFF and press the TPoseMesh button. This will create a new combine mesh.
  8. Press Tool>Import and select the GoZ file you exported at (5). The mesh should be adjusted into your pose.
  9. Press the TPose>SubT button to transfer the pose to your original model.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the info!

I did make my own rig. I saved the project and a few hours later worked on it again. But like you said, i didn’t save the rig itself.
Now i know for the next time :).

I’m going to try your tip and let you know if it had worked.
