Transpose Master and ZSphere rig issue

Hello everyone. My first post here, and I’m someone who is fairly new to zBrush.
I’ve come across an issue to which I haven’t been able to find an answer.
I had been working on a multi sub-tool character model. I posed the model using Transpose Master and a ZSphere Rig. I set up a pose, saved and then clicked TPose - SubT which successfully transfered over the original subtools to the new pose.
Unfortunately I then suffered a crash before saving. Having reopened my last ZPR file I am unable to click the Tpose - SubT button and I’m asked to ‘load a TposeMesh from disk’. I’m unsure what to do in this case, as when clicking TPoseMesh I’m getting the warning ‘Only one Subtool, operation cancelled’
Rather than having to go through the process of re-rigging the character, can anyone suggest a work around for this problem?
I would appreciate any help before I tear my hair out.
Thanks,
Will

Maybe in the Quicksave folder accessible through lightbox or in recovered files. Maybe in transpose master folder is a copy of the ztl? Save often.

You can try this:

  1. Select the ZSphere rigged combined mesh that has the pose you want to transfer.
  2. Make sure the ZSpheres are visible (they should be, unless you have pressed ‘A’ to preview the mesh, in which case press ‘A’ again).
  3. Set the Tool>Adaptive Skin>Density slider to 1.
  4. Press ‘A’ to preview the mesh.
  5. Press Tool>Export. You’ll get a Save As file dialog. Make sure you select ‘GoZ Complete Binary’ in the file type dropdown, give the file a name and save.
  6. Switch to your original model with subtools.
  7. In the Zplugin palette, make sure the Transpose Master>ZSphere Rig option is OFF and press the TPoseMesh button. This will create a new combine mesh.
  8. Press Tool>Import and select the GoZ file you exported at (5). The mesh should be adjusted into your pose.
  9. Press the TPose>SubT button to transfer the pose to your original model.

Let me know if this helps.
