Transpose destroys model

Hi all,

I have a model that is created in Maya (all quads) and then sculpted in ZBrush. I want to transpose the legs and body of the model and I do this on level 3 out of 6 for the best performance and quality. But when I switch to another level after the transpose a few point on each foot fly off into space.

I have tried to transpose on other levels but the same think happens. Only on level 6 does it work, but that level is just too heavy for me to work with.

Has anyone experienced this problem and know what to do to avoid it or to fix it afterwards?
