Transparency with UDK Question

Alright, so I made a creature with dragon like wings for a UDK game that I’m working on. I’m at the point where I want to poly paint him. I’d like his wings to be somewhat transparent look to them.

Does anyone know if there is something I should do to be able to achieve this look in my game?

If that’s not possible, is there a way so that the texture I’ll apply to my creature later has a transparent look to it?
