Transfering sculpting detail to UV maps

Hey all,

Im not sure if this is possible at all or what its called but heres my situation;
I modeled a base mesh and started sculpting it in ZB. Im almost all the way through sculpting (no texturing yet) but I just learned how to make a decent looking UV map for my model (using the same base mesh that Im sculpting from).
Is there anyway to take my detail from my current high res sculpt and throw it on my UV unwrapped model?

How is the UV mapped model related to the one that you’ve been sculpting? How was it created? The answer to that question will determine how you can get the details across.

You take the hi res mesh, import the new UVed lo res mesh and append the lo res mesh to the high res mesh as a subtool. Subdivide the low res mesh a few times then, with your high res mesh as the background subtool, use the ‘projectall’ button in the subtool palette to project the details from the high res mesh to the subdivided low res mesh.
