Transfering HD Geometry?

So is there another way to transfer HD geometry from one tool to another? I see you can use the zproject brush while in HD sculpting mode between 2 meshes, but obviously you would have to do it piece by piece. Any way to transfer all the hd geometry in one fell swoop? This would be if you need to change topology on the mesh a bit or even UV’s.

bump. anybody? not possible at this stage?
