Hi everyone.
I have a question that I just cannot seem to figure out or find the answer to and was hoping someone here would either know the answer or know something I can do to help solve my problem.
Ok, so. I created a guy in Zbrush off of the average guy. I beefed him up into a huge fat guy. So I have this fat guy with over a million polys, so after awhile I decided to go back to this guy and maybe try to figure out how to do normal maps.
Well I lowered his subdivisions to 1, brought him into Maya, unwraped him, and then brought him back into Zbrush. So now I have the .obj of my low poly fat guy but I want to use my high poly fat guy to generate a normal map for him. So my question is, is there some way I can transfer the uv that I made so that I can get a normal map from the high poly fat guy I did, or do I have to start from my low poly guy, re subdivide him, and redo it all?
So I don’t know if I am just missing something or if I am just doing this a really stupid way when there is something really easy I should be doing.
And help would be appreciated.
