Transfer UVmap

Hi,

I have a sculpted model in zbrush but now I want to transfer a UV map onto it that I created externally.

How is this done? I have an obj on my drive with the correct mapping but I cant seem to figure out how to apply it to my model and all its levels/detail?

load your UV’d mesh as a subtool of your sculpted mesh, subdivide it to the same level, then click subtool->project all. this will project all of your sculpted details from the one mesh to the UV’d mesh.

If the level 1 of your sculpt and your UV’d base model have the same point order and point count, you can replace your level 1 with the UV’d version with the import command on your tools pallet. (This will just replace your level 1, leaving your detailed mesh levels intact. Otherwise, use project-all as Testure has suggested.
