I made a character in zbrush… He already have i’ts uv map…
Than I retopologyz it… but the retop version have no uv map… how can I transfer the old uv map to this version of the same tool?
So I can make a normal map with the old version over the retop…
The UV map depends upon the model’s points. When you retopologize you change the points. It is therefore not possible to transfer the UV map.
You can, however, map the new version of the model and transfer any polypaint to it by using Tool>SubTool>Project All. For best results use a multiple of 8 for the PA Blur setting.
Will that work for displacement and normal map?
