Transfer Hi-res maps to new mesh?

Hi,

This may sound like a stupid question, but hopefully some one can point me in the right direction. I have been sculpting a head and happy with the detail that I have. But I found that I had some merged vertices in the mouth, So I exported out the mesh at its lowest res. Fixed up the problem, now I want to transfer the detail to the new mesh and then carry on sculpting. When I have my ztool with the head in it, and import the new mesh ,it does ask to transfer the hires map to the new map, but when I say yes, its transfers but then I am unable to sculpt the new mesh, Its seems locked to me?

Can anyone help me out?

It’s masked. Unmask the model by holding control and clicking off the model somewhere in the workspace.
