After I make a pose it doesn’t transfer details from a high poly mesh.“Tpose to subtool” button doesn’t work-sais-no matching data.
Same here
I have 4 sub-tools, and the top level sub-tool has 4 subdivision levels, with the 3 below it having just the 1 level. I keep getting the error ‘No Matching Data’.
Ive tried having 4 SD levels on each tool
Ive tried re-naming
Using a clean setup
Checking for mesh problems
ensuring each sub tool is just one group
…and then when I deleted the 3 lover levels of the top sub-tool and all tools just had a single level TM worked fine. I made sure that this was the only changing factor, and so established its having issues with Sub Division levels, which kind of voids it usefulness.
MY RESOLVE:
Make sure each sub-tool is in its own group and that each sub-tool has the same number of division levels, then merge the sub-tools (keeping the UV’s). You should now be able to slide down the division levels to the lowest, then pose, then slide back up again. Then you can split by group back to sub-tools again.
Note: This can be a problem if you have lots of objects that takes the model to a level thats to high a polygon count, and also sometimes spheres cause issues due to their ability to be ‘reconstructed’ down so many levels, so even if it shows 4 division levels there are many more lower ones and it can clash with the rest of the sub-tools when merging, resulting in only a top-level merge.
Just see the suggestion at the bottom of this page:

Thank’s!
