tranfer uv map and texture to a lowpoly model

Hi guys
i’ve this model that’s 5462600 polys and i used " zremesher " and now its 20031 polys
but it lost the uv map ???
how can i apply now the same texture ???

duplicate old model.
zRemesh
uvwrap new model
subD model up
tool.project all

You can’t use the same texture or UVs as your model is totally different now and the UVs would be as well. But you can follow the steps above, or look into “project all” to transfer/project all of your details and color information back to your new mesh.

Duplicate the tool, select the new subtool and zRemesh it…and now I’m lost. How to unwrap etc.?

unwrap new model " zplugin " list - uv master - unwrap …
then nothing happened ??? what to do now ???

infact i also tried to subd the new one after i " unwraped " it even if i didnt see any change and i continued
used project all …and imported the texture … and didnt work ???

You’re going to have to put up some pics to better show what it is you’re doing, and what results you’re getting.

Look into UV Master inside of plugins, or simply use any other software package that prefer to unwrap in.
