TPoseMesh Looking for Subtools

Greetings,

When I hit TPoseMesh ZB tells me it needs a model with subtools.
I am following a tutorial and the instructor does not have any subtools when he uses TPoseMesh.
I believe the instructor is using R6, I am using R7.
Is there any explanation?

Thanks, Paul

Transpose master is asking at least 2 subtools because if you only have one there is no point to use transpose master. The idea of transpose master is to solve the problem of how modify the geometry of more than 1 subtool simultaneously. Using subtool master with 1 subtool solves nothing and would be an useless process as you can simply use the normal tools.

Thank you,

The tutorial had me thinking another advantage had to do with TPoseMesh moving the model to it’s lowest SubD and then restoring hi res when finished. I know there are other ways to do this, but I am a new user and trying to do what I’m told.
The question still remains though WHY was the instructor in the video able to activate TPoseMesh with no warning (even if there was no point) and I am not?

Thanks, Paul

You only need to move the subdivision slider with the lower subdivision to achieve that, without transpose master. You probably are misinterpreting the tutorial in some way as no tutorial would use that method.

The version 4.6 as the version 4.7 was no able to use transpose master with only one subtool meaning that he must have used at least two. You can add a small subtool if you want to force the transpose master to start.

Thanks
