Topology question

Dunno if this went to right place but anyway…

What should i do if i need make some small topology tweak for some very complex model?. remeshing the whole model would take crazy amount of time with all the projections and stuff.

I tried something i’ve usually done taking the lowest division lvl to maya and then tweak it there and then just import back. Zbrush will ask if i want to add the highrez detail and i just hit ok. Untill now this method has worked perfectly even with huge changes but now im trying to do some small tweak and Zbrush crashes.

Is there any other easy way doing these small topological changes?

if you don’t change the point order it shouldn’t give you that option, it should just import it no problem, it won’t need to project the hires detail again.

Could you give us a more specific step-by-step of what you’re doing?
