I now try to reconstruct a low poly model from my high poly model via a ZSphere, that I bind to my high poly model and edit the topology.
I rigged the whole model beautifully and then my tutorial says that I have to create a polymesh 3d from at a high subdivision level. I took level 7, as it is also the highest subdivision level in my high poly model…
The problem is: The new high poly polymesh 3d is just a very smooth variant of my new basic mesh, it does not contain any of the detail of the original face… in the tutorial, the new polymesh 3d looks exactly as the original…
What am I doing wrong as I can’t find a way to create a high poly mesh that has all the detail of my original model…
