topology errors.....

Hi,

I only add this lines like in this picture below to my existing topology and get this topology errors. The main mesh is realy simple and consists of zspheres.
The symmetrie is ok, the normals shows correct, no masks,…don´t know, what can still the reason for this errors? topology.jpg

Looks like the newly created points are hidden behind the main mesh try pulling them forward.

retopology doesn’t like when you do that, a trick i found that makes it work is to delete one of the edges around the loop, either the inner one or the next one out(i don’t really remember), also for where you are putting these loops you could always edgeloop them after you make your skin, this method helps with fingers as well.

thx for your tips…but nothings helps…i tryed all what i can do…i reinstalled zbrush, but without success.
edgeloops aren´t possible :frowning:

i know the retopologyproblem, so i would retopologyze before i get in to details to my model.

i would like to retopo in maya but i haven´t engough experience for this…don´t know if i lose the zbrush symmetry if i retopo in maya.
there are a tutorial for retopo in maya?

i’m not sure i still understand your problem, as i said, this is something that retopology doesn’t like but is easily fixed by removing some edges, if you keep testing it out by deleting some, then checking your skin you will see.
also why can’t you just edgeloop those two loops once your skin is done?
