Topology brush a little clunky for you also?

It seems great at first – when just drawing out lines to make a batch of polygons — but it feels a little tedious sometimes when drawing a line to end exactly on a point to make a new poly. I keep missing the point I want to hit, even though the mouse cursor is directly over it and it turns green. Feels like there needs to be a snap feature, or maybe I’m doing something wrong.

Anyone else have the same problems?

I went back to using the old method of creating a zsphere and using the toplogy + rigging tab. That works better than any other software’s toploogy tools.

There is a snap feature under stroke>curve features or something like that. Set to 10 by default  it is a bit tedious but like anything it takes time and practise.

Hey,

Try zooming in unusually close to the subject. This helps a VERY great deal. Also, draw slowly, carefully, and deliberately and dial the brush size down. Try a brush size around 20-30. I dealt with this myself early on but I’ve found that these things make a world of difference.
