Very nice. Try colouring the lights warm and cool.
Warm and cool - I clicked on the white in lights and used a pastel red for the warm and pastel blue for the cool
Building warm

That is looking pretty sweet! It’s nice to see it on other people’s work, so that I know I’m not catering to the settings.
Looks like some ILM concept art I know of.
Try putting something in the background or on a lower layer to get the edge effect. Otherwise, enjoy.
Jason not sure this is what you had in mind -Warm light two layers Z2 default texture on building added fog. The toon shader is fun to work with thanks for posting it . (the fog also added more of a pastel look to the image)

Interesting Spaceman, dropping acid???
LOL no - after I textured the building it reminded me of Peter Max’s work - wired.
I did another one in a gradient fill type texture with stars and other objects - has a watercolor effect to it.
I did another with some spaceships, space platfrom and a low about 800polys structure type model - they outlined good with your shader
Taadaaa! Little boy becomes little lion boy… Man, Zbrush just gets my mind squirley with possibilities.
Ok I’ve had some time to refine the process. Here is the initial stage of the new modified toon material and the new humanoid templant (from which all my characters (bipedal) will be derived).
Initial character based on the works of Varga, Olivia, Serpieri and J. Scott Campbell, of course. This templant is a Zsphere model as well.
i really like that last model for some reason…
thanks for the shader!
greetings
froyd
Thanks froyd, a sketched her out in Zsphere’s pretty quick. The new one should be ready soon, if I could just get a few minutes to play. Enjoy the material, I’ll be posting a small collection of variations soon as well.
